In healthcare news, Metropolis Technologies (News - Alert), a telemanagement provider, helped Sunset Cardiology with their employee productivity and phone abuse by installing OfficeWatch Telemanagement.
According to the report, phone bill showed numerous unauthorized 411 and long distance charges. Mariala Diaz, office manager for Sunset, knew that one of the staff members was involved but had to interview 18 people before finding the culprit. With the telemanagement solution, they were able to obtain detailed call information, track unauthorized calls, and see how long said calls were made for.

Also this week, ROCWare Product Performance Management solution was launched by Subex, provider of business support systems.
According to the article, service providers will now be able to quickly identify problem areas before the customers are affected.
