Thanks to the release of MaxxVault 5.2, keeping track of information that is spread across various applications and stored in various locations and managing millions of documents efficiently is no longer the arduous task that it once was.
With the addition of over 50 new features and enhancements, MaxxVault LLC, a specialist in enterprise Electronic Document Management Systems, has boosted the capabilities of its MaxxVault Server and MaxxCloud, according to company officials.
“One of our primary goals has always been to provide a dynamic and powerful solution to businesses that need to scan and process high volumes of paper,” said Ken Bly, chief technology officer at MaxxVault, in a press release.
He further added that MaxxVault with the added ability to split a document into two separate documents and index the newly created document in one easy step would go a long way in quick and smooth intake of high volumes of documents.
The company stated that the Auto-redaction feature will help secure the documents by hiding and protecting information from individuals who don't have full access. Watermarks that help in tracking can be placed on documents that are printed from the system, filing processes can be speeded up and management of large number of documents is simplified.
With the improvements to MaxxCloud, document management applications and data can be securely accessed from anywhere over the Internet.
According to Bly, with MaxxCloud 5.2, users will be able to track document versions and will have more options for customizing the folder contents view. Users will also be able to print in a batch all the documents they have collected in their hit list.
In other news from October 2011, MaxxVault LLC and dtSearch Corp., a global supplier of enterprise and developer text retrieval and file parsing software, announced that the dtSearch Engine is now embedded in MaxxDocs 5. Adding dtSearch allows MaxxDocs users to accurately and quickly search the content of documents to find the information they need.
